For my first card I have a lovely Kissing Under The Mistletoe Card.

This card way pretty easy to make. To start with I cut my card base and mat out of Recollections Cardstock from Michaels using my Cricut Explore. I chalked the mat of the card with a chalk pom-pom and some brown chalk, I did it in more of a circular motion bringing it in towards the center to create the look it has. I then inked the edges of the mad with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

The mistletoe and Mr. and Mrs. Claus are metal dies by My Treasured Kutz called "Meet Me Under The Mistletoe" and "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus". I cut both dies using my Sizzix Big Shot and Michaels Recollections Cardstock.

To create the mistletoe I shaped the leaves and berries using a shaping stylus and then added some green chalk to make it pop a bit more. I also used red Offray ribbon to add a bow to the mistletoe, I felt it added a nice touch.

I attached all pieces of the card using Elmer's CraftBond Permanent Tape Runner and Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive. Finishing it up with the sentiment "Best Wishes for a Happy Holiday!" To apply the sentiment I used a miscellaneous stamp from my stamp collection and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Now on to my second card. I couldn't really come up with a catchy name for this one so I'm just going to call it my "Happy Holidays" Card.

Almost all of this card was created using my Cricut Explore. The only thing I didn't cut with the explore is the "Wondering Moose" which is a My Treasured Kutz metal die that I cut with my Sizzix Big Shot.

The grassy hill and winter cabin is from the My Treasured Kutz SVG Digital Cut File called "Winter Mountain Scene Background Card" which was cut with my Explore. When I cut my card base on the Cricut Explore I also used the pen tool and "Has a Writing Style" option to write the sentiment "Happy Holidays". The font I chose was Baby Steps and I used the Cricut silver metallic marker.

Now for the best part of my "Happy Holidays" card; the "Stitched Tree" SVG Digital Cut File. The "Stitched Tree" is today's FREEBIE for the hop. I'm so excited about this SVG File because I actually designed it. I cut the Stitched Tree out with my Cricut Explore - *Because this is a stitched file, it can not be cut out as a small embellishment, it's meant to be more of a medium size or focal point embellishment. When attaching the pieces of the Stitched Tree I used Elmer's CraftBond Foam Mounting Tape on the top and bottom piece to give the tree a little dimension.
