Easter Friends

Happy Thursday my fabulous crafty friends. Doesn't everyone just love making Easter crafts? Anytime there's a reason to add any kind of bunny to something, I'm all in. Today I'm sharing this super adorable Easter card I made.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut the card and the hill. The hill I found in the Design Space image library. It's called Field and Fence from the My Quiet Book cartridge. When I opened the Field and Fence image I ungrouped it then deleted the fence, I only used the field out of that set.

I then used My Treasured Kutz dies to cut the Neighborhood Houses, the White Picket Fence, and the Petite Grass Border.

The little adorable bunny girls is an SVG cut file from  SVG Cutting Files called Bunny Suite Elaine and I used my Cricut Explore to cut them. I also used my Explore to cut the sun which is from the Sunshine and Cloud freebie by PPbN Designs.

After I had all pieces cut I added chalk to show texture and depth; then attached everything to the card. After everything was attached I added some detail using a white gel pen.

I then added the word Hello using a stamp from Craftin Desert Diva's Simply Said set.

The last thing I added was the faces on the girls. I stamped them using the Everyday Character Face Assortment stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Hoppy Easter Joyful Bunny Tag

Happy Saturday my crafty friends, isn't this joyful bunny just the cutest.

To make this darling tag, I first cut the scalloped tag out with my Cricut Explore. I got the file from the design space image library (Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cartridge). The tag had two layers, the top had a butterfly, I ungrouped the tag and deleted the one with the butterfly, leaving me with a plain scalloped tag. I then embossed the tag using the Darice Dot background embossing folder (item # 1217-67).

Next, I cut out everything else uses dies from My Treasured Kutz (dies listed below). After all pieces were cut I calked some of them to add texture and used a white gel pen to add a little detail.

My Treasured Kutz dies used:

To add the adorable face to the joyful bunny I used Peachy Keen Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Face Assortment Stamps set (item # PK-757) The stamp size I chose to use on the bunny was 3/4". After I stamped the face, I colored the eyes and teeth in using a white gel pen.

After attaching all pieces to my tag, I add the word Celebrate to the grass using Jaded Blossom Simple Sayings Candies stamp set. I love this stamp set because the words are so small that they work wonderfully to add that little something extra to any craft project. Now, the Candies stamp sets have a circle around the words (I only wanted to stamp the word), so I used a stamp marker to color only the word Celebrate then stamped it on my project.

I finished it up by tying a piece of white glitter tulle to the top of the tag.

May The Road Rise Up To Meet You

Good morning friends. I have this adorable St. Patrick's Day card that I created to share with you.
I created this green beauty using my Cricut Explore. The bear was made using the Irish Bears set from Kadoodle Bug Designs. The flowers came from the Kadoodle Bug Designs Feelin Irish set. The picket fence was a free SVG download from Birds CardsThe Great Outdoors. The little patch of grass was an image from design space (Create a Critter cartridge/Grass). I used my cricut to write the sentiment "May the road rise up to meet you" After everything was cut, I chalked all pieces to add texture and depth and used a white gel pen to add detail. Finally, I glued and attached all pieces to the card.
Now, on to the inside of the card. Again it was cut using my cricut explore. I chalked and inked the edges to give an aged look. The font that I used is Baby Steps (handwriting style). I used a black Pilot Precise V5 pen in the pen adaptor and had my Cricut write the sentiment.  The sentiment is actually an Old Irish Blessing and it reads as follows.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Sweet Treats and Warm Days Ahead

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday. Spring is only 7 days away and I can't wait for some warmer weather. I've created a super cute, sweet treat, spring box.
I created this adorable treat box with my Cricut Explore, using svg files from SVG Cutting Files and dies from My Treasured Kutz.

SVG Cutting Files used:

~The picket fence box was made using the Fence Platform Box.

~The precious girl in pink was created from the Besties Set. She's the BFF Bestie sitting on top the letters. I altered her eyes to make them sweet and pretty using the eyes from an image in Cricut Design Space (Girl Head/My Quiet Book cartridge).

~The grass is the grass that comes with the Chibi Spring Sheep file.

~The flowers are from their freebies selection, Spring Flowers and Daffodil Days.

My Treasured Kutz Dies used:

~The adorable little bunnies were made using the Bunnies die.

~I used two out of the four butterflies in the Alluring Butterflies die.

After all pieces were cut; I chalked everything to add texture and used a white gel pen to add detail.
Finally, I glued and pieced it all together.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I filled my spring treat box with some Easter grass and topped it off with some delicious Reese's pieces peanut butter eggs.

Have A Wonderful Weekend!
